“Son tiempos difíciles” me decía Carlos, un amigo, hace algunos días mientras tomábamos un café y charlábamos.
“Mira, te cuento que creo que son tiempos difíciles, las cosas ya no son como antes, antes era más fácil ser independiente, crear tu propia empresa” me comentaba y proseguía.
“Ahora, el mundo está en crisis, la estabilidad económica es un mito ya, yo veo crisis por todos lados”, y mientras lo escuchaba como se desahogaba conmigo, le pregunté lo siguiente.
“Mira Carlos, ¿cuándo han sido tiempos fáciles?”, cuando era más joven, escuche la misma historia.
Los tiempos son difíciles para la persona que quiere que sea difíciles, el emprendedor aprende a ver oportunidades donde los demás solo ven los problemas.
Proseguí diciéndole, que muchas de las trabas que tenemos, son más mentales que reales. Vamos, a veces en nuestra mente, creamos escenarios catastróficos de sucesos que no han ocurrido. Nos dejamos invadir por el pesimismo, nos creemos lo que los demás nos repiten y no nos permitimos experimentar por cuenta propia las cosas.
Carlos se quedó callado, pensando, que tal vez tenía razón… “Carlos… tú sigues en tu empleo “seguro”, no has tomado ese paso de emprender, porque sigues repitiéndote una y otra vez que los tiempos son difíciles, tú mismo te has programado para no lograr lo que te propones, ¿qué no lo ves?”, le comenté.
Se quedó callado, como pasmado, se dio cuenta en ese preciso instante, que lo que decía no era una chorrada. Era algo real, jamás se había dado la oportunidad de emprender, por temor a un escenario INEXISTENTE.
¡Vaya dilema!, ¿cuantas veces no nos hemos bloqueado por temor a cosas que NO EXISTEN?, Carlos era uno de esas personas, que como tú o como yo, muchas veces nos hemos frenado por temor.
Los tiempos no son difíciles, ni fáciles, los tiempos son los tiempos y se acabó. Si tú como Carlos, te vas a impedir experimentar por lo que otros digan, estás perdido, acabado, que va, no has ni empezado el juego y ya te das por perdido.
Nadie, absolutamente nadie merece estar en un trabajo que no ame, no merece estar en un trabajo que no ama porque es algo “seguro”, porque recibes una nómina. Eso tarde que temprano va a terminar consumiéndote, te va a acabar.
Un día te despertarás infeliz, insatisfecho, cansado, harto, porque no estás haciendo lo que deseas, lo que realmente quieres hacer.
Carlos, era uno de ellos, un hombre que vivía para su trabajo, no para él mismo. Tememos fracasar, pero jamás nos damos la oportunidad de siquiera intentarlo.
Y es que fracasar no es algo malo, debes de quitarte esa idea de la cabeza, el fracaso es aprendizaje, es parte de la vida, no siempre vamos a triunfar, no siempre va a salir todo como lo deseamos.
Pero más vale intentarlo a quedarte con las ganas de haberlo hecho, un día eres joven y al siguiente te despiertas con un par de años encima. No quisiera que llegarás a ese momento en el cuál te preguntas qué fue lo que hiciste con tu vida todo este tiempo.
Y es que el tiempo NO lo tenemos comprado, hoy estás y mañana ya no. Y muchas veces nos detenemos, nos bloqueamos porque creemos que tenemos tiempo, y dejamos las cosas para después, y a veces ya no existe ese después, a veces es AHORA O NUNCA.
Sé que puede sonar muy trillado, pero es que es una verdad absoluta. Los tiempos siempre cambian y la adversidad puede funcionar como una catapulta para tu éxito, para lograr lo que te propongas. Todo está en tu mente, ¿eres ganador o perdedor?
Y es que como le comenté a Carlos aquella tarde, todo está en ti. Jamás me cansaré de repetir que cuando cambiamos una idea, cambiamos nuestro destino.
Las ideas se pueden moldear, cambiar, eliminar, nosotros tenemos ese poder y es increíble que no lo estemos aprovechando.
La mente es sumamente poderosa, tenemos el PODER de crear, de forjar nuestro destino, las decisiones que tomemos hoy, harán eco en el mañana.
¿Qué decisiones estás tomando?
Te invito a que como Carlos, dejes de repetir algo que no has vivido, que te arriesgues, que tomes el control de tu futuro, de tu presente, de tu vida.
Te invito a que lo hagas, no te quedes con la duda. Si haces lo que realmente quieres, lo que amas, créeme que el éxito llegará, porque así funciona la vida. Hacemos lo que amamos por amor, el dinero viene por añadidura.
¿Qué estás haciendo de tu vida?, ¿crees que tienes tiempo?, analízalo HOY, no mañana, HOY.

The times are difficult for the person who wants to be difficult, the entrepreneur learns to see opportunities where others only see the problems.
I went on saying that many of the obstacles we have are more mental than real. Come on, sometimes in our mind, we create catastrophic scenarios of events that have not occurred. We let ourselves be invaded by pessimism, we believe what others repeat and we do not allow ourselves to experience things on our own.
Carlos was silent, thinking, maybe he was right … «Carlos … you are still in your job» sure «, you have not taken that step of undertaking, because you keep repeating to yourself time and again that times are difficult, you yourself have programmed to not achieve what you propose, what do not you see? «, I commented.
He was silent, as if stunned, he realized at that precise moment, that what he was saying was not bullshit. It was real, never had the opportunity to undertake, for fear of an unexplained scenario.
What a dilemma! How many times have we not blocked for fear of things that DO NOT exist ?, Carlos was one of those people, that like you or me, many times we have stopped by fear.
The times are not difficult, nor easy, the times are the times and it’s over. If you, like Carlos, you are going to stop experimenting because of what others say, you are lost, you are finished, you are going, you have not even started the game and you are already lost.
Nobody, absolutely nobody deserves to be in a job that does not love, does not deserve to be in a job that does not love because it is something «safe», because you receive a payroll. That sooner than later will end up consuming you, it will end.
One day you will wake up unhappy, dissatisfied, tired, fed up, because you are not doing what you want, what you really want to do.
Carlos, he was one of them, a man who lived for his work, not for himself. We are afraid to fail, but never give ourselves the opportunity to even try.
And it is that failure is not a bad thing, you must take away that idea from your head, failure is learning, it is part of life, we will not always succeed, it will not always come out as we wish.
But it is better to try to stay with the desire to have done it, one day you are young and the next you wake up with a couple of years on top. I do not want you to get to that moment where you wonder what you did with your life all this time.
And it is that the time we do not have it bought, today you are and tomorrow no longer. And many times we stop, we block because we think we have time, and we leave things for later, and sometimes that does not exist later, sometimes it is NOW or NEVER.
I know it may sound very trite, but it is an absolute truth. Times always change and adversity can work as a catapult for your success, to achieve what you set out to do. Everything is in your mind, are you a winner or a loser?
And as I said to Carlos that afternoon, everything is in you. I will never tire of repeating that when we change an idea, we change our destiny.
Ideas can be molded, changed, eliminated, we have that power and it is incredible that we are not taking advantage of it.
The mind is extremely powerful, we have the power to create, to shape our destiny, the decisions we make today will echo in tomorrow.
